  Financial Planner

  I have worked with Mike since 1992 when I first started working for his General Insurance brokerage later transferring to his independent financial adviser firm. I gained my Financial Planning Certificate in 1999 but chose to work on the research, analysis and administrative side of the business whilst my children were young and requiring more of my time. Then in 2014, I decided to undertake the Society of Trusts & Estate Practitioners (STEP) Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation to complement the company services and I passed this in April 2015. I went on to study and pass the STEP Administration of Estate Advanced Certificate later that same year. This gave me the inspiration to update my financial planning qualifications to enable me to advise clients and return to financial planning, and to this end I fully completed and gained my Diploma in Financial Planning and Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in May 2018 passing my final examination with distinction. I am now registered with the Financial Conduct Authority as an Appointed Representation of TenetConnect Ltd.  I am also an Associate Member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters.

  In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, running and walking. I am also very involved in the Scout Association; I am a Group Lead Volunteer and have been running a Cub Scout Pack for nearly 30 years (children aged 8 to 10 ) which I enjoy immensely. Myself, my family and our two rescue dogs, Ralph & Poppy, also foster dogs in need for a local animal rescue whilst they await their forever home. I am a committee member for my local Royal British Legion (Maidstone & District) assisting them at intervals throughout the year and during Remembrance.
